I got a call from an automated lady’s voice warning me about a £600 payment made on my mastercard to some overseas business. She told me to press 1 if I wanted to block any future payments. What bugs me is that she never mentioned which of my cards they were talking about, and I’ve got a few. So I tried ringing the number back, but it just played a recorded message saying they weren’t taking calls right then. Strange and a bit fishy if you ask me.
