I forgot to mention in my first comment, but you could hear kids playing noisy in the background. So unless it was some special day where they bring their kids to the office, I’m pretty sure the guy was calling from his house.

Got a call earlier today from a guy claiming to be Eddie from Microsoft, speaking with a strong East-European accent. He said my PC was throwing up error messages and said he’d fix it - for a fee, of course. I told him he must think I’m daft or something, and he got really offensive, telling me to “F off”. Pretty sure he wasn’t expecting me to call his bluff like that.
