This number gives me a bell every day without fail. Strangely enough, there’s never anyone there when I answer. When I attempted to return the call, a pre-recorded woman with a thick accent instructed me to provide my details, like my phone number, name, and email, to supposedly opt-out. I promptly hung up!

Can't say who rang me but it was one of those calls where they just stay quiet and then hang up, likely not even from around Hereford or the UK for that matter. The only reason I can think of for someone dialing random UK numbers like this is to try and pull off a scam - maybe redirecting calls to a premium line or trying to trick folks into giving out bank or financial info.
