Got a call from someone claiming to be a local chartered surveyor, no name dropped, said they were coming round tomorrow. They wanted to speak to the house owner, but never mentioned a name, and said it was about some insulation work done ages ago. The call quality was rubbish, kept cutting out, so I said maybe they should call later. I told them that wouldn’t make much sense since they’re meant to be around tomorrow, then just said cheers and hung up. Pretty sure they weren't being honest though.

They're basically faking it by using a number that looks local to your area, but actually, no phone numbers around here start with 679. So right off the bat, that’s a fishy move. Then they go on about "already helping people nearby" and "you’re probably eligible for it free," like we’re meant to buy it. Honestly, don’t fall for it, it’s all dodgy. Steer clear!
