I chose not to pick up but noticed what others were saying, so I reported it and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from a bloke claiming a firm I use had switched their name and needed to check my bank info. Sounded legit but was obviously a scam. I halted the payment and let both the genuine company and my bank know straight away.

Got a call about paying for insurance and they asked for the missus. When I asked which firm they were from, they just cut me off straight away.

They were pretending to be from an insurance firm, but it was clearly a scam. Really dodgy behaviour.
