Got a call from someone trying to push a contract for a second-hand phone. I told her I was just after upgrading to a new model and why would I bother with a refurbished one when mine works fine. She just ended the call on me! Watch out for stuff like this, folks.

I just did an upgrade with Joanne and she was really lovely, super helpful and took the time to explain all the details to me. I was worried it might be a scam but it wasn’t at all. My phone arrived through Royal Mail special delivery and honestly, the deal was way better than what I had with O2!

Got a call from someone saying they were with 02, trying to talk me into an upgrade that isn’t even up for ages (not until next year, really!). The woman sounded Welsh and just asked for me using my first name.

Got a call from someone speaking with a British accent, asking for a person I've never heard of. Then they tried pretending to be from 02, offering some sort of upgrade, even though they didn't check if the person lived here or anything. Smells like a scam to me.

The moment I picked up, there was some music playing in the background. Then a lady with a posh British accent came on asking for someone by their first name - not me, though someone in my family shares that name. I asked who was calling, but before I got an answer, the music returned and the call was suddenly cut off. Feels like a scam or maybe just a trick to verify who the mobile number belongs to (which wouldn’t be right this time anyway).
