I got a call from some outfit called “tech help itd” claiming to be from Las Vegas and London. They said my computer was picking up malware while I was just surfing the web. The woman on the phone, who sounded Asian, wouldn’t explain anything properly, which annoyed me, so I just ended the call. Strangely, she did mention my full postcode, which creeped me out. Watch out for this one!

this number just rang me at the office, and some bloke with a thick accent who called himself shayne said my computer might've got some dodgy software on it. i asked him to send me an email with the details but he just kept going on and on. when i suggested he speak to my IT team, he just ended the call.
