I got a call on our office line with a recorded alert about an unauthorised charge on our visa card. The automated voice told me to press 2 to speak with their security team if the transaction wasn’t mine. When I pressed 2, another recorded message came on with an American accent, saying it would connect me. Then, when transferred, a guy answered with an Indian-sounding accent and already knew my name. I asked him for a callback number just so I could confirm he was legit with Visa, but as soon as I did, he hung up straight away.
