Got a call from a number that showed up as Hemel Hempstead, but I don't know anyone from there. The voice sounded like a woman but was definitely a robot. They kept talking about some accident, which is strange ‘cause I’ve never been in one and have nothing to do with it. Feels like a scam to me.

This number rang me but I just let it go to voicemail. As I thought, there was no voice left after it picked up - probably just one of those fake calls again.

Got a call from a lady with an American accent claiming to be from Amazon, saying I needed to confirm a £500+ order for an HP laptop. She told me to press 1 to proceed. Total rubbish and honestly sounds like a scam to me, really dodgy situation.

Got a call about renewing Amazon Prime, they wanted to check if I was an Amazon user. Then later, they rang again about some printer order over £500. Definitely a dodgy Amazon scam, watch out!

Got a call on my landline from someone claiming to be Amazon. I rang Amazon myself and they told me not to share any info and just end the call. Honestly, these scammers should be shut down, it’s getting ridiculous!

How did a scammer pretending to be from Amazon get hold of my landline? Has there been a data breach at Amazon or something fishy going on?

Just like others said before, I got a call from an unknown number about renewing my Amazon Prime. Then, a bit later, this same number rang again to check if I really bought a laptop. Totally felt fishy to me.

Got two calls today, one claimed it was about my Amazon Prime and the other said it was regarding a laptop order. Both sounded dodgy so I just hung up straight away. Definitely a scam!

Got a call the other day, just silence on the other end. Honestly, I wish these folks would just buzz off for good. If you’re gonna try and pull a scam, at least have the guts to say something!
