So today this lot called and said they were from h a advisory services, but instead of using my own name, they kept referring to the company I work at. They were trying to get me to hand over my details to claim some PPI. Honestly, I feel bad for the banks - they’ve probably paid out enough thanks to these mess-ups. I just wish these calls would stop - I’m not owed any money and it's getting pretty annoying.

They started off by saying my name, which they obviously already had, then asked if I'd cleared a store card balance - I'd done that years ago, like a decade back, but I told them I didn’t have any card. Next, they assumed I’d finished paying off my mortgage too. Yeah, that’s when I just cut the call straight away.
