someone rang me pretending to be from bt openreach saying there was an issue with my internet speed. they insisted i needed to co-operate and turn on my desktop or laptop so they could guide me through it. i told them it felt quite intimidating and asked how i was supposed to switch on a computer i don’t even have. they just hung up after that. i reckon this was a dodgy call, just another sneaky scam trying to get hold of your computer and steal personal info and passwords.
