I've been getting loads of calls from this number and another one about issues with BT broadband. It’s really annoying. BT, you really need to sort out these endless calls!

For the past week, I've been getting calls from different numbers, all from some automated voice saying it's Veronica from BT. She says my broadband was involved in some illegal stuff. I try blocking the numbers, but then they ring again from other ones. I've seen calls from 01620502348 and 01475727624, both look like the same trick. Quite annoying really.

Just got back from holiday and the very first ring was from 01429874816. My husband picked up but stayed quiet. He said the caller claimed to be with BT and wanted to transfer him to someone who could fix a supposed issue. They mentioned there was interference messing with our phone line and internet, and they offered to "sort it out" for us! I immediately ended the call.

So, I got a call from someone called Veronica claiming she was from BT saying my internet was being hacked. I waited on the call and got passed to someone who sounded like they weren't from around here, definitely a foreign accent. She insisted that BT owned my internet connection even though I'm not a BT customer. I got fed up and just hung up. Tried calling back about 30 minutes later but no answer. Total scam, obviously.

I got a robo call supposedly from BT saying my internet had been involved in criminal activity, then it just cut off. That kind of call could really scare someone older or easily worried, and they might end up pressing a button looking for more details.
