We've received numerous calls from these individuals lately. I attempted to return their call and was promptly directed to a robotic message stating that I had been contacted by Respondex representing one of their clients. In our efforts to remove our number from their database, we've followed the procedure outlined in the message. We've done this a whopping four times now! Yet, despite our attempts, they persist in calling. Every time we pick up, there's nobody on the other end. Quite vexing, to say the least!

Received yet another call of the same nature, and we have Marbles on our list. Seems like it’s just a company cold-calling folks to peddle card insurance. We entered our number-though it’s obvious they’ve already got it from somewhere-to have it removed from their database. There was a touch of lift music during the call before they eventually hung up. Nothing too concerning, really. It’s only when they start requesting credit card numbers and security codes that one ought to feel alarmed. At least we’ve managed to avoid another call from them… at least for now!

It's quite alarming how these wrongdoers seem to be zeroing in on us. I'm thoroughly disillusioned by our lacklustre government, whose negligence is astonishing, along with an utterly incapable police force and a justice system that feels utterly toothless. Even oversight bodies like Ofcom appear to be ineffective in this situation in the UK.

I received a rather peculiar phone call earlier today from this number. I can't quite place who it was or how they managed to get hold of our number, particularly as we don't have any acquaintances in Hartlepool. I suspect this might be one of those dodgy con artists I've heard mentioned in the news. It's a bit of a red flag when an unknown number rings you, you pick up only for them to hang up, and then when you try to call back, it’s always silent on the other end. What's more alarming is the possibility that you could end up with a phone bill racking up to over £200 for calls you never even made or numbers that aren't anywhere in your contact list. Quite the alarming situation, if you ask me!

A mate of mine has also had the misfortune of answering, and he claims they’re draining his credit each time he picks up. It’s baffling why these callers are contacting us all the way up in Scotland when they’re supposedly based in Durham. My advice? Just don’t pick up the phone!
