Received a dodgy call purporting to be from Currys, attempting to peddle broadband deals, of all things! Clearly a scam, as Currys doesn't even offer broadband services. Do yourself a favour, block the number and don't engage with them!

I received a call where they inquired about my actual name. When I pressed for details on what it pertained to, their response was merely, "oh, right," before abruptly ending the call. Can anyone shed light on this?
