This number rang me a little while ago but I didn't answer, so I decided to call back. A very dodgy sounding bloke answered and started saying it was my “lucky day” because I’d supposedly qualified for a Vodafone upgrade, and he claimed he could save me loads on my phone plan. When I asked if he was really with Vodafone, he said he worked for some firm called Prestige. That was enough to set off the warning bells, so I just ended the call straight away.

keeps calling here in the hartlepool area. when i pick up, i can hear voices talking but no one actually speaks to me.

Someone rang me but all I could hear was noise in the background. I kept trying to get their attention by saying hello, but nothing. So I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone saying they were from a company called “Prestige,” claiming to manage phone deals and supposedly offer the best prices, kinda like Carphone Warehouse. At first it sounded like they were part of EE, but when I asked, they said no, they just worked with the major 4 networks and could get me a better deal. The whole thing felt really fishy, their explanations were all over the place, so I just ended the call.
