They left a voicemail asking me to ring back, but never said who they were. Quite annoying really.

I got one of those robot calls telling me I was convicted of tax evasion. I just hung up and blocked it right away. I guess some people might get really frightened by them though. Best thing is to just ignore and delete these messages, nothing to worry about.

What a total con! Some muppet called me telling me there’s a warrant out for my arrest over tax evasion 😂😂😂 Caller ID was ‭01429 804136‬, obviously a load of rubbish.

Got an automatic call from this number, so I phoned back. I asked repeatedly for their full name. Then I said I was with HMRC and was checking their details in the system, and they just cut me off right away. Tried to call them again but my number was blocked. Got a phone call earlier claiming to be from HMRC about a tax evasion issue. They said to ring back on the same number. Definitely a scammer trying it on!

Got two calls today from “HMRC” with this robotic voice telling me I’m being taken to court over tax dodging. Totally a scam, so I blocked the numbers straight away. It’s awful how these people try to scare others, especially those who might be more trusting. There’s some useful info about dodgy calls on gov.uk if anyone’s unsure. The numbers calling were 01429 262767 and 01429 804136.
