Received a call from someone claiming to be affiliated with the UK Crime Unit, asking me for my computer license details. Apparently, my name and passwords had been compromised in China and other places. I saw right through it and politely told him he was wasting his time before ending the call.

Some bloke rang up saying my computer had problems - when I told him to bugger off ‘cause it was obviously a scam, he started swearing and threatening to come round and mess me up! Honestly can’t understand why these calls keep coming through when I'm on the TPS.

I got a call from some chap claiming to be with TalkTalk, which made me feel quite iffy straight away. I told him I don’t ever get calls from TalkTalk, so he couldn't be legit, then I just ended the call. After that, I blocked the number on my phone.

Answered the phone only to hear quiet for a moment, then some robot voice said "goodbye" and they just cut off. This isn’t the first time I’ve got these dodgy calls. Sometimes they claim to be from Talk Talk but when you call them out on it, they just drop the call. I reckon it’s a good idea to report them to the ICO - you can find all the info online. These scammers could be hit with fines up to half a million quid.

Got two calls on 23/5/17 from 01290 765902. Both times, nothing but silence first, then a recorded woman’s voice said “good bye”. Definitely not a real person. The same exact thing happened again the next day on 24/5/17. Pretty sure it’s some kind of automated scam.

On Wednesday, 24th May 2017, this number called me at 11.27. I noticed there was a busy call centre noise in the background, and after about 35 seconds of just waiting, the person hung up. Nowadays, I only pick up if the caller immediately says who they are. No voicemail or message was left at all. Honestly, if they’re not willing to leave a message, I’m not wasting my time answering.

Got a call on my landline from someone saying my computer was running really slow and that they needed to run some software to fix it. They told me to open TeamViewer so they could see what was going on. Claimed they were from Talk Talk. When I asked them to confirm the account holder's name, they just hung up on me. The woman who called sounded like she had an Indian accent, and the guy who seemed to be in charge sounded Indian too.
