I got a call from this bloke Craig, really nice fella, who sold me a security system costin’ about £2000 plus a monthly charge of £100 for monitoring. When the lads came to fit it, they were pretty neat and made sure to explain everything I asked about. I’m quite pleased with both the gear and the price, and honestly glad they reached out to me. Would definitely suggest giving them a go.

Some lady called me rattling on about crime rates to scare the elderly into buying her security stuff. Honestly, what a terrible way to do business. Should be stopped altogether!

I’ve noticed a security firm ringing me from a bunch of different numbers, like 01429 555 003, 02476 667 747, and 01212 013 705. Seems like they’re juggling several lines or something.

Got a ring from a woman called Suzzie who claimed to be checking postcodes for security reasons. I cut her off quickly, saying I wasn’t interested before she could carry on. Seeing other comments about this number, it looks like it would’ve ended up as one of those pushy sales calls for security stuff. I’m definitely putting it on the TPS list.

Got a call asking me to confirm my address and name, then they started saying something about helping local emergency teams improve their service. But when I asked which company they were from, they just cut the call. Proper strange.

This woman claimed she was with the police security team. Felt like a total scam to me. When she figured out I wasn't some old person, she just ended the call.

Some young woman called me, said it was some sort of postcode security check or something like that. Next thing, she was trying to sell me an alarm system with this fancy 'level one response' nonsense. Honestly, our police are already stretched too thin to handle half the stuff going on, let alone run round for intruder alarms ringing in. I just told her nicely to buzz off.
