I rang up regarding some trouble I was having with my internet. Now, being 68 years on this Earth, I've got a decent nose for when someone's trying to pull a fast one. This chap on the other end of the line was keen for me to install some software on my computer to sort out the so-called issue. Quite dodgy, I must say!

I got a call from a strange number with our local code, so I picked up thinking it was from the care home of my elderly family member. The person on the other end had an accent and was talking about issues with our router. Once I figured out it was a scam call, I got pretty irritated.
