He said he was from around here and needed to inspect the pipes, but when I asked, he didn’t seem to know my address at all, which felt a bit dodgy to me.

So these people said I’d won a competition I supposedly entered. They asked me for my bank details, and thinking it was legit, I gave them. Turns out, they just emptied a load of cash from my account. What a nightmare!
