Received a call from 01428 722498 (Haslemere). Normally, I just let these unknown numbers ring out, but I was expecting something important about our internet, so I picked up. A bloke asked if I was Michael. I'm not, and before I could finish telling him, he just cut off. Happens quite a bit - people give up if you don’t play along with their cold calls. I tried ringing back to sort it out, but all I got was “the number you have dialled is not recognised.” Honestly, how do companies get away with using numbers that don't even work? Proper annoying.

I answered my phone twice this morning because I was waiting for a call, but each time I said hello, the line just went quiet! Quite annoying!
