Received a message from some dodgy caller claiming my National Insurance number is no longer valid due to improper financial transactions. They instructed me to press 1 for further information… honestly! Clearly a scam of the highest order. I've gone ahead and blocked them, but I wouldn't be surprised if they find a way to contact me again, just like the countless others that have tried their luck over the past few years. Is there really no legislation in place to put an end to this ridiculous nonsense?
