Today, 18th May 2023 around 5:45pm, I got a call that seemed to be from a local number. Turns out it was some automated voice claiming to be from AMAZON Prime saying my subscription had expired and it would cost £95 to renew, asking me to press different keys. I ignored it and tried calling back the number, but it just said “the number you dialled isn’t valid, please check and try again.” No shock there! These annoying scammers keep getting craftier.
