Got a call from this number but let it ring out. I was looking at the reviews while it was still ringing, then the call just dropped before I could pick up.

I got a call from what turned out to be a local Chinese takeaway's number. Apparently, scammers got into their phone system recently. If you get a random call from them, best to just hang up. But if you ordered food from there, then it’s legit. They’ve not been able to switch off the phone line since it’s their actual business, which is frustrating for them.

They rang up with another fake survey, trying to sneak my personal info. I cut the call straight away and blocked their number. Gladly, I could report it on the who called me site to warn everyone else too! Cheers for that.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Carphone Warehouse, but they said they were calling from a place called ‘The Tasty’ restaurant. Totally sounded like a scam to me.
