Got a robo call on my home phone saying there'd been a suspicious £600 charge on my card in some foreign place just 15 minutes ago. They said to press 1 to cancel it. I just hung up straight away. It smelled like a scam to me. I only picked up because the number was kinda close to one of my mates, so I thought it was them. I’m ex-directory and usually don’t get random calls on my landline, but the last couple of days, I’ve been flooded with calls from weird numbers I don’t recognise.
