I got a call from a salvage firm that deals with insurance companies. They’re trying to track down cars that have been written off as total losses.

The firm is Copart, and they’re defo not dodgy. They get in touch to sort out picking up cars that’ve been in accidents, working for insurance firms. It’s daft for anyone to post here claiming it’s some sort of con!

Got a phone call about a van my neighbour apparently returned to the rental place back in October. The neighbour actually asked me months ago to hand over the keys since he couldn’t make it himself. Bit odd they’re only calling now, months after it happened.

These people say they're from Copart UK working with AXA insurance, but they're actually scammers. They want to take your car away from you. Definitely don't give them any personal info!
