Same kind of thing ive seen in alot of the comments here. Some Asian bloke on the phone just rambling on. Just for fun I fed him some fake info, said I was living in a park near Cardiff. I've been bombarded with calls from this number on a daily basis. They always ask for me by name, but when I request to know who they are, they just throw a fit and hang up. I’ve been receiving a stream of calls from this number, sometimes as many as five a day! I’ve mentioned multiple times that I’m on the telephone preference register, hoping this would put an end to it, but it doesn’t seem to have any effect. Typically, they either apologise and hang up or just cut me off outright. One caller was so impolite that I can't even repeat what he said! Honestly, it feels like my registration with the GPS wasn’t worth the effort, as the calls just keep coming.

Another scam call, which I’d say was annoying and maybe even a bit risky. I’ve put their number on my block list now. Before, I used to just leave the phone off the hook for about 30 minutes after they hung up - seems to throw a spanner in their works for a bit.

Got seven calls from an asian guy working at some call centre. On the fifth ring, I told him to remove my number from their database. By the sixth call, I told him to end the chat, but he refused and said "NO". I warned I'd report them, then he just hung up. The seventh call was from someone else, also asian. I told them to cut the questions because I'd already reported the number to TPS. As soon as I said that, the call just dropped.

They've rung me three times already today, and it's not even 11.30! I've asked them repeatedly to remove my number from their list, but to no avail. You claim that you can identify the callers, so why haven't these interruptions been halted? From the remarks I've read on here, it seems like no progress is being made. I'm off to Lincolnshire shortly and will be popping into Gainsborough. If you could shed some light on the origin of these calls, pinpointing the location would be appreciated, as I could deal with it myself.

Got these annoying calls from someone who sounds like they’re from India or Pakistan, can’t understand a word they’re saying. They’ve called me 3 times today and twice last evening. A survey firm with a guy named "Frank" has rang me thrice just today. This "Frank" bloke is pretty rude and just hangs up whenever I ask him to take me off their list. I ignored the phone the third time. I’ve put in a report on the Information Commissioner’s Office website, ico.org.uk, and I’d tell others to do the same - maybe it’ll get them looked into.
