Got a ring from this number not long ago. Said there was some issue with my internet and asked me to switch on my computer. I flat out said no way and told the bloke I knew he was trying to rip me off. He got all steamed up and started saying I was pulling a fast one on him, threatening to phone the cops and have them drop by! Ha! So far, I’ve made a cuppa and grabbed some biscuits, still waiting for any “officers” to turn up though.

I got a call from someone saying they were with TalkTalk about an issue with my router. When I asked them to prove they were really from TalkTalk by giving me details only they’d know, they just went quiet and quickly hung up. I’ve now reported the number to TalkTalk’s nuisance call team to see if they can sort it out.

We ended up reporting this as a case of "attempted fraud" to the fraud division. Besides that number, they also pretend to be TalkTalk using 00123456789, which is some internet-generated code and can't be tracked. Earlier this year, hackers broke into the TalkTalk main database and swiped our personal info, just like loads of other people. The cops told us to just hang up immediately when they call. These scammers also share their stolen contact lists with other fake firms pushing PPI claims and the like. Now, we simply ignore any unknown calls.

Got a phone call from some bloke calling himself Jamie, claimed he was from TalkTalk and said there was something wrong with my router. These annoying calls have been pestering me for about five weeks now, started on my mobile and now they’ve moved onto my landline. They’re pretty sneaky, using all sorts of different numbers and even knowing my name, address, and giving me some fake account number! I told TalkTalk about it and they confirmed it’s a scam, which is comforting, but I wish someone could actually put a stop to it. They’re relentless. Don’t fall for it, don’t give them anything! Nowadays, whenever they ring from a new number, I just block it straight away. If one sneaks through, I keep quiet and wait for them to hang up - their time, not mine!

Got two calls from someone saying they were from TalkTalk, saying my router was messed up. I told them nothing was wrong. They kept pushing me to fire up my computer. When I kept questioning them, they just ended the call. Then they rang again today. I called them out on trying to scam me, and the woman told me to shut up before hanging up! Proper dodgy behaviour!

This number rang me twice earlier, both times saying they were from TalkTalk. The first call was about giving me some money back for my router, and the second call said my router had a problem. I even tried calling the number back but was just told the number isn’t valid. Really wish these calls could be blocked somehow!

Got a call claiming to be from 'TalkTalk', but the number wasn’t the typical spam one I’ve seen before (I checked by dialling 1471 after). When I asked the caller for their contact details, they rudely told me to buzz off and hung up. Weird that it showed up as a UK number, though.

Today, I got two calls from this number. The first was from a woman with an Asian accent who claimed there was an issue with my router. When I asked what exactly was wrong, she just dropped the call. A bit later, a man named Steven, also with an Asian accent, rang me saying there was a problem with my router and offered to send a replacement along with a £28 refund if I logged onto my computer... Well, you can guess how that went. I’ve reported this to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040. Honestly, these people are shameless and what they're doing feels like plain harassment!

Got loads of dodgy calls from people pretending to be TalkTalk, saying my internet was being hacked. They told me to hit the second key on the bottom row and the 'r' key, claiming it would help fix things. Obviously, it was a trick to get control of my PC so they could then ask for cash to sort it out. I block the numbers every time but they just keep ringing back. Proper frustrating!

Sometimes, this asian lady gets calls from men who want her to press the flag key and r at the same time. She just plays along a bit, but then when they realise it’s a joke, they start yelling rude words. She fires back a few curses and then they hang up.

Around 3pm on August 11th, 2015, the phone buzzed once again. A lady answered but her voice was so unclear, almost like a robot from Doctor Who or something. I tried replying in Welsh and kept insisting she use Welsh too. After a bit, they just hung up on me.

So today on the 8th of November I got a call and my little girl picked up the phone. The person asked for her mum, but then went on to call her a ‘stupid idiot’ and just dropped the call. Pretty rude behaviour really.
