Got a call about some kind of broadband speed issue. I pretended I couldn’t hear properly and asked them to go over everything again a few times. After rambling on for ages, they just gave up and ended the call. Obviously just reading from a script.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying he was from BT Openreach, started talking about slow internet. He wanted me to get on my computer for some reason. I asked who he really was and then he handed me over to another Asian bloke, saying he was his supervisor. This guy got quite rude when I asked for his contact info. Kept pushing me to log in on my PC, but I wouldn’t do it. When I asked which company actually supplies my broadband, he couldn’t answer. I told him I’d ring my provider myself, then he just ended the call.
