They claimed to be from Amazon, saying someone was attempting to scam my account. I got texts and emails that appeared real. But then they attempted to persuade me to let another person reset my password and install an app. When I requested a phone number to confirm their story, they wouldn’t give one. The bloke then told me I seemed trustworthy and warned me not to pick up calls like these, saying they were the scammers. Honestly, don’t pick up or interact with that number.
