01425615597 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 01425615597 👆 is reported as a persistent scam originating from an automated caller claiming suspicious bank transactions, typically citing unauthorised charges to Amazon and large international money transfers. The calls urge recipients to press a key to cancel or speak to "security," but no legitimate bank details or personal identification are provided. Many have confirmed their bank or Amazon accounts show no such activity. This number targets all, including vulnerable elderly individuals, often leaving no voicemail. Recipients are strongly advised not to engage, press any keys, or return calls. The consensus is to block and report the number to relevant authorities such as the ICO and TPS, as it forms part of an ongoing attempt to phish personal and financial information under the guise of bank security alerts.

Totally a rip-off, don’t fall for it!

I answered the call but there was complete silence, just me saying "hello? hello?" before I ended it. Then I tried calling the number back, it just rang and never got picked up after about half a minute, so I gave up. Looked up the number online and landed on this site. I'm registered with the TPS, so I'll be reporting it.

I received a call from this number claiming there was a transaction related to my Amazon account. They instructed me to press 1 to connect with an advisor. Frankly, I don't even use Amazon, so I could tell straight away that it was a dodgy scheme. Best to steer clear!

I answered the call but there was nobody speaking, just silence. I said "hello?" a couple of times before putting the phone down. Then I tried calling them back, but it just kept ringing for about half a minute with no one picking up, so I gave up. After that, I looked up the number online and landed on this site. Since I’m registered with TPS, I’m going to report it.

I've experienced something quite similar - received a call from a robotic voice claiming I'd authorised a £1000 charge from Amazon. It instructed me to press 1 if I wanted to cancel the transaction. Rather unsettling, to say the least! I opted to hang up and did a bit of digging online. Grateful I found this site! Cheers, Claire - Bristol

Got this weird message saying there was a charge of £300 on Amazon and another £1500 sent abroad. Didn’t say what card or bank it was linked to, just some random info. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to cancel or 2 to speak with someone. I just hit the delete button, didn’t fancy dealing with it.

Got a call from someone saying they were from my bank, talking about some transfers that apparently didn’t fit my usual spending. Real banks always use your name and mention the last 4 numbers on your card, so that’s what I expected. Plus, the phone number they called from was completely random and had zero connection to my bank. Pretty clear this was a scam trying to pull a fast one.

01425 615597 keep calling me, claiming to be from Bank Security about a £300 Amazon charge and a £1500 transfer. It's really frustrating, especially since my number’s unlisted and registered with the TPS. I just wish these scammers would stop, they could easily trick elderly folks out of their money. These calls have got to end!

I've got this recorded message six times in the last six weeks saying my card was used for £300 on Amazon and £1200 abroad. It's totally dodgy and sounds like a classic scam. Wish someone would put a stop to these calls before someone actually falls for it. Would love for them to hear the rubbish I’ve been saying back!

This was obviously a scam, trying to nick your cash. An automated call told me that over £1000 had been withdrawn from my bank via Amazon and some stranger. They wanted me to hit 1 to stop the payment or 2 to chat with their "support" team. The robot voice was really broken up, sounds like it was chopped from loads of different clips. Definitely report it and block the number!

I had an experience much like the ones I've seen from others. A recorded message from someone claiming to be from 'Bank Security' informed me that a £300 transaction had been made to my Amazon account, along with an alarming money order for £1600.
