I got told to ring this number to get back £16,500 that I paid some termination service to deal with my case against Club La Costa. Honestly, they’re just as awful as those timeshare firms. Looks like I'll have to sort it out through the courts now.

So I got a call from someone called Kim Clark who said she was from the “consumer advice centre”. She offered to put me in touch with a company that handles timeshare claims. Some of the things she told me about Club La Costa seemed kinda true, but a lot of it was just plain wrong. Just a heads up, this isn’t anything to do with the official Citizens Advice Bureau!

Just got a call from Rachel Guinn at Consumer Advice Centre on 01425600173. She said she could connect me with solicitors about timeshare issues. Sounds pretty convincing, but honestly, who really takes assistance from these random cold calls?

Got a call from someone claiming to be Katrina Williams from the Consumer Advice Centre’s helpline in Newbury, number 01425 600173. She asked if we still had our timeshare. I said yes, and mentioned we were already getting legal advice. Then she asked which firm we’d hired, and said that company was being looked at for illegal activity. She offered to help us with free legal advice. What made me suspicious was that the 01425 code isn’t actually from Newbury. Felt like a bit of a red flag.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from the consumer advice centre. They offered to connect me with a group that helps with ending timeshare agreements. Apparently, they told me the cancellation done by another firm wasn’t legit.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with a “customer advice centre” (they’re everywhere these days) about some timeshare I supposedly got mis-sold.

I picked up the phone since the number looked local. Some bloke said, “Matt here about the loft insulation you got done.” I told him he was talking rubbish because I live in a flat with no loft at all, and it all smelt like a scam to me. He hung up right away. I've blocked the number now!

This number just rang me up too, talking about loft insulation. I told the guy it sounded like a scam and he went quiet, so I just ended the call.

So this guy Tom rang me, said he was offering loft insulation services. Thing is, I've never even asked about that. When I asked him which number he was actually trying to reach, he just hung up on me. Strange!

Today, I received a call from this number, and the chap mentioned it was a follow-up regarding a loft insulation programme. He claimed it was fully funded by the government. However, after doing a bit of digging online, I couldn't find any trace of such a scheme. It feels pretty dodgy to me, and I suspect it might be some sort of scam.

I got a call from the number 01425600173 claiming it was a follow-up regarding a loft insulation programme. When I asked when he last rang, he replied something like, “Oh, it was about the insulation I supposedly installed in your loft.” I questioned how he could know I'd had insulation done. After that, the bloke just hung up on me.
