This pension lot has called me two times today already. Told them to stop ringing but doubt they’ll take any notice. Proper annoying!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from a pension audit firm looking for me. I told one of them I'd fetch the person and then bunged the phone under a towel for about 20 minutes. They’ve kept ringing over the past few days, and after reading other reviews, it's clear they’re not legit. Hopefully they liked the muffled sounds through the towel!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from a pension audit firm, and it felt like a repeat contact from before. Whenever I tried to get them to explain more, they either dodged my questions or just didn’t reply. Looking back, I wish I’d taken on board the advice someone gave on 16/09/2016 (see below) - I've jotted those tips down now since I’m pretty sure they’ll ring me again eventually.

Somebody called claiming to be from a pension audit firm. They really pushed me to hand over some documents and said they'd send a courier to pick them up, which I haven’t arranged. It’s pretty odd because I couldn’t find any info about them online at all.

I received a call on my mobile from this number, and it was quite peculiar as they seemed to know my name already. When I confirmed it was indeed me and inquired who I was conversing with, the woman simply apologised and disconnected the line without further ado. Rather odd, wouldn't you say?

I've received countless calls from this number, and when I finally picked up, there was nobody on the line. It just disconnects after a few seconds. It's quite frustrating, could someone please look into this?

Like with any cold call, you should always request their company registration and VAT numbers. With this firm especially, they get quite annoyed when you ask for their FCA number and such. So definitely ask for these details and be firm about it to make sure their call is genuine.

Just like with any cold caller, it’s wise to request their company registration and VAT numbers. I've noticed that this particular company tends to get rather flustered when you press for those details. Don't hesitate to ask for their FCA number as well; it’s your right to verify their legitimacy. Always stand your ground and seek these details during phone conversations to ensure everything's above board.

They called asking for my hubby but when I said he wasn’t here, they told me it was about a pension review or something and then just hung up on me.

I received a call earlier, and when I mentioned my husband, the person on the line said he wasn’t around. They claimed it was regarding some sort of pension assessment but then abruptly hung up. Quite peculiar!

I’ve just lodged a complaint against them, as they’re operating completely without oversight-it’s all a massive con job.

They even had the audacity to suggest they’d dispatch a courier to collect some documents they claimed I had signed.

Stay vigilant, and don’t hesitate to tell them to clear off! Absolute nonsense.

I received a call at my workplace where the caller requested to speak with me but didn't bother to provide their name. When I tried to return the call, I was greeted by a recorded message in an American accent, insisting that my call was important and requesting me to hold. Needless to say, I decided to hang up.

I enquired with my wife about my availability when a call came in. They had my name and claimed to be conducting a pension audit, wishing to chat about my pension from an old job. I made it clear that I wouldn't engage in any conversation over the phone, and the call was promptly cut off.

Received a call at ten to seven. When I picked up the phone, they just disconnected.

Got a call from a British bloke asking for my husband, but the minute I told him he wasn’t home, the line just went dead. Weird how quick they cut off!

Got a call from a UK number, but the person had an American accent - just another cold caller. I've blocked the number now.

I've just received another call regarding my pension statement. I had a conversation with a young lady who mentioned she would transfer me to another assessor. When the call was handed over, I attempted to gather further details, but as I expressed my intent to hang up, the chap insisted, "Just wait, you need to hear what I have to say." At that point, I decided to hang up the phone.

After days of persistent calls, I finally picked up the phone. The person on the other end seemed to know my name, which was quite unsettling. When I inquired about who was calling, she just laughed and abruptly ended the conversation. Since it was a local number, I tried returning the call, but it just led me straight to a recorded message. Is this some sort of con? I’m listed as ex-directory, so I’m puzzled as to how they got my details.

I received a phone call on the 13th of August in 2015 at around half past five in the afternoon. It was clearly from a call centre due to all the background noise, making it almost impossible to catch what the young lady was saying! There was something mentioned about a pension statement I’d supposedly received. When I told her I couldn’t hear properly, she responded that she couldn’t hear me either and then promptly disconnected the call! Who on earth are these people?
