over the past couple of weeks ive had about 7 calls that seem the same but from different numbers, ive made sure to block each one. im pretty sure ive missed some cause i dont always pick up so the total might be higher. ive told bt about it to see if they can help.

Got a call on my landline from someone with an American accent, saying her name was Shirley and she was from my internet company. She claimed my IP address was hacked and that my service would be cut off within 24 hours unless I pressed 1 to get help. Do they really believe we're all daft enough to just follow their script like mindless robots? So frustrating! I've blocked the number now, but I bet I'll get the same scam from another one soon, because this isn't the first time it's happened.

Didn’t get any voicemail, so I’m just gonna block the number.

Got a call from some American robot voice saying my address was compromised or something and they’d send me a new one along with a free router. Had to press 1 to speak to a “technician.” Seemed dodgy to me.

Got a call from an automated American voice saying my IP address was compromised and to press 1 to speak to technicians. I just put the phone down straight away!

Got a voice mail about my internet provider being hacked or some nonsense, i just ended the call right away.

I got a call from some American sounding robot chick claiming she was from my internet company. She said my security was at risk and they’d cut me off in a day if I didn’t press 1 to talk to a techy. What a total scam, made me roll my eyes so hard!
