I got a call from someone saying they were with "BT Openreach" claiming there was an issue with my broadband. When I asked why my actual Internet provider hadn’t reached out, the caller insisted BT is the biggest in the UK. That might be true, but isn’t Openreach a completely different company now? From what I know, BT even considered letting Openreach contact customers directly back in 2015, but then decided against it. Might be worth this caller checking their facts on Wikipedia before ringing people up with nonsense.
