4 yearsThe first person I spoke to had an Asian accent and said his name was Alan. He claimed to be ringing from O2 and offered me a 40% discount on my O2 bill. When I said that sounded promising, he passed me onto another Alan. This second advisor told me he’d send a verification code that I needed to activate to get the discount. I asked if he could email the code instead, but he said it had to be sent by text message and then he’d call me back to activate it.
