Got a call from this number around 1 o'clock this afternoon. The person claimed to be with Amazon and said they'd withdrawn £500 from our bank. They asked us to log into our online banking to verify the transaction. It felt fishy, so we ended the call straight away. After that, we looked at our bank account and there was no sign of any payment to Amazon. The number starts with 01425, which is local to us. This definitely seems dodgy. Watch out, folks.
