I received a call from a chap with a thick accent, claiming to represent Amazon Prime. He informed me that £95.99 was about to be taken from my card for my auto-renewal. I promptly blocked the number!

I rang the number that showed up on my phone and ended up speaking with a lovely retired bloke. It’s obvious this is a real BT line from a normal home. We had a good natter about scam calls and what we do when we get them. Without a doubt, this is a scam, they’re just spoofing a genuine number.
