I received a call from someone identifying herself as Victoria, claiming to represent a company that carried out some work for me a few months back. She requested that I ring her back to organise a final inspection of the job. However, when I tried to return the call, the number seemed to be invalid. Concerned, I reached out to the company directly, only to discover they had no record of anyone by that name, nor did they have any upcoming inspections planned. It strikes me as rather dubious; perhaps they’re trying to gain entry to my home under false pretences?
