01424 027 386 Called me pretending to be from some insurance folks, saying I was in a car crash. I definitely wasnt. Watch out, looks like a scam.

No clue who that was. He never said his name or what company he was from, and didn’t ask for anyone in particular. He just said something like, "I'm wondering if you’ve got a Lidl leaflet?" I blocked the call right away cos I definitely didn’t ask for any Lidl stuff. Judging by other comments here, it sounds really suspicious.

Someone rang me from this number asking whether I'd got a brochure that was on its way. I couldn’t quite catch which company she mentioned. I told her she’d got the wrong person, but she did say the street I live on, though she didn’t say the house number. She said it should arrive in a few days. After seeing what others said about this number, I’ve decided to block it.

Got a call earlier today but they hung up the second I answered. Sounds like a total scam to me. If they’re legit like some folks here say, they seriously lack basic customer service skills. Some bloke said he worked for a firm that hands out BT phonebooks, but when I asked which one, he wouldn’t say. When I told him "No thanks," he got all stroppy and started saying he wasn’t selling anything, just wanted info on distribution. Seems dodgy to me, definitely blocking this number from now on!

Got a call from a woman checking if I’d gotten a flyer from some home decorating company. She said she’d sort out sending me one, but I just told her not to bother.
