I said hello a couple of times after picking up, but no one replied. After seeing what other people have said about this number, it definitely sounds shady.

Got a call with a recorded message telling me that my internet was being used illegally and that it’s some kind of criminal offence. Really caught me off guard.

When I picked up, there was a noticeable lag before the call connected. A guy with an Indian accent started pitching some phone line offers. I asked him the name of the company and he said ‘Sleek Telecom’, which I found out is a real business. I then pushed for their office location and he claimed it was in Wembley, UK, which checks out. But as soon as I mentioned I’d be contacting them about not following the TPS rules, he just ended the call.
