Got a ring from this number today. A woman named Veronica said she was from Calls to Block trying to sell one of those call blockers. I told her straight away I’m on the TPS register, but she still went on with the sales pitch. I warned her that her firm could get fined heavily for pushing sales after I mentioned TPS. In the end, she just hung up.

This number has been ringing me quite a few times over the past few weeks. Today, finally, someone answered and was trying to pitch a 'call blocker for nuisance calls' costing £69. The lady was really pushy and quickly passed me onto her manager. He spent about 11 minutes going on about why their device was supposedly better than the rest. I don’t usually buy anything over the phone, so I cut the chat short, but I guess it might be useful for some folks - if you trust you'll actually get the product after handing over the £69.
