I received a rather dodgy call earlier from someone claiming to be from BT Telecom. They informed me that my internet was about to be disconnected and urged me to press 1 if I wished to avoid this calamity. The funny thing is, I'm not even a BT customer! So, I decided to hang up without wasting another moment. Now, I’m left scratching my head-why on earth are they threatening to cut off my internet when I don’t even use their services? And what's more, why is there no clear way for me to report this nonsense? It all seems a bit off, to say the least.
