I got a call where a recorded voice came on part way through saying the internet at my place had been hacked and would be cut off in 24 hours unless I pressed 1 for BT or 2 for others. I’ve also had similar calls from these numbers: 01429464530, 01424611413, 01429270577, and 0149222500. Seems like a scam to me.

got a call on 19th july 2019 from a number saying they were with bt. they claimed our internet was hacked and if we didn’t reach out to their “technician”, the service would be cut off within a day. now it’s 1st august and nothing’s happened. definitely a scam, especially since we don’t even use bt. had a few calls like this coming from different numbers too.
