I’m baffled as to how this fraudster managed to get hold of my number and address, but one thing’s certain - his whole spiel was complete nonsense. He claimed he could arrange a splendid refund from the bank he supposedly worked for. Honestly, don’t be gullible, folks; no legitimate bank would ever ring you up out of the blue to offer you money!

Watch out for this scam! I got a call saying I was eligible for a refund on bank fees. They even used my proper name and my real address, which was quite convincing. Just so you know, 01424 468364 is definitely a fake number!
