Somebody rang me saying they were from Microsoft. I told them I wasn’t buying it. When they asked for a reason, I explained that Microsoft wouldn’t phone folks out of the blue like that. I added that it was usually scammers or people trying to con others who behaved that way. The call then just cut off.

Some bloke rang me saying he was from Microsoft, but I wasn’t having any of it. Asked him why he was calling and I told him that Microsoft wouldn’t ring up like that. I said only scammers or dishonest folks would make calls like that. Then the line just went dead on him.
