Got a call from someone claiming to be eBay, said they were followin up on an iPhone order and mentioned they'd emailed me about it. What raised alarm bells was the call came from my own local 01423 area code. Clearly a spoofed number. I called it out as a scam and hung up straight away. My guess is they were trying to get remote access to my PC to steal my bank info. Just a heads up folks, a local number doesn't mean it's legit!
