Honestly, it's become quite unbearable! These calls keep flooding in, sometimes five times a day, even on a leisurely Sunday evening. I’m absolutely tired of it! The maddening part is that nobody ever speaks when I answer. Seriously, what’s the bloody point of these persistent calls? It's utterly ridiculous!

What an absolute bother! We've been bombarded by this number an astonishing 32 times today alone, and it's still only just after one o'clock! Most of the time, they don't even utter a word, and when they do, their English is appalling. It's the same dreary routine, again and again. I've finally had enough and decided to report them, along with an email to the company detailing their incessant harassment. It's truly scandalous that we shell out money for our phone services only to be subjected to this relentless annoyance!

Watch out, this is a total con. They pretend to be BT but it’s actually a dodgy company called Italk trying to trick you. They call saying they’re from BT just to keep you chatting. This AMVOC lot are ringing up strangers, pretending to help, but really just want your card info. They’re preying on people who think they’ll save money on their phone bills, but it’s all a scam.

BEWARE! It's a con. They're attempting to lure you into switching to Italk, but they're not affiliated with BT in any way. They merely pretend to be from BT to keep you on the line. I looked into it and they claimed to represent a firm called Amvoc, which turns out to be a telemarketing outfit based in Yorkshire. They're cold-calling folks, trying to persuade them to hand over their card information under the guise of saving money on phone bills. It’s a sneaky tactic, preying on those who are easily swayed into believing it'll reduce their expenses.

He called trying to sell me some phone deal to make free calls but when i asked who he was working for he wouldn't tell me and also wouldnt say where he got my number. They sound like they’re signing you up for some BT thing but just watch out, dodgy vibes.

Yet again, some company has got hold of my number and couldn’t care less about me not wanting these annoying calls.

This number rang me twice within a mere ten minutes, and when I dared to ask a few questions, they became rather hostile. It's high time someone put a stop to these antics.

I had a rather curious phone call earlier today. The person on the line claimed to represent a firm linked with Openreach, and began with a couple of harmless-seeming inquiries: "Do you receive free phone calls?" and "Are you on standard broadband?" Naturally, I replied honestly and mentioned my satisfaction with BT's services. After that, he expressed his gratitude and swiftly cut the conversation short. However, something about it niggled at me, so I decided to give BT a ring just to be safe. They informed me it was an "invalid number." Quite unsettling, really!

This number keeps calling me, and whenever I pick up, all I hear is a 'hello' before they abruptly hang up. It's quite puzzling, really. I can't fathom who’s behind these calls or why they persist with such behaviour without facing any consequences. It’s rather frustrating, to say the least!

Upon notifying the individual on the other end, supposedly from iTalk or whichever organisation they represent, that their calls were in fact against the law, I found his tone to shift quite dramatically. He ominously recited my address, which felt very much like a thinly veiled threat, as if he were implying, "we're aware of your whereabouts."

It would be wise to notify the authorities about this matter.

I got a call from someone who actually had my address, and they were pushing me to join some ‘free’ service. When I questioned who he was and what company he worked for, he started acting really intimidating. Honestly, this kind of behaviour feels like it should be reported, maybe to the police or trading standards, because it’s definitely not on.

Yet another call from this number has come through. Thankfully, I wasn't around to pick up. It baffles me how, despite being on the TPS list, these persistent nuisance calls keep rolling in. What’s the point of registering if they still manage to get through?

Tried to get free calls in the UK but as soon as I mentioned I already use that service, they just dropped the call.

I mentioned that I was on the Telephone Preference Service list to avoid unwanted calls, but the chap insisted that it didn't count since my number wasn’t blocked. I just placed the phone down casually and let him ramble on while I made myself a nice cup of tea.

Why on earth can't BT just shut down this number already?

Based on the information available, it appears that this call originated from iTalk, attempting to persuade me to switch my services from BT. As I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS), I shouldn’t have received this call in the first place.

I received a rather curious call earlier today from a person claiming to be associated with my phone service provider-though they neglected to mention which one! They even used my name, stating they were keen to arrange some complimentary telephone calls. Naturally, I interrupted and inquired about the company they represented. To my surprise, they mentioned I-call. I must admit, I was completely baffled and firmly expressed that I had no interest in their so-called offer before hanging up. Could this be yet another scam attempt, I wonder?

Upon answering the call, I was immediately greeted by a robotic voice sporting an American twang. You know the type-it's that annoying voice that tells you that either you or someone related to you has snagged a reward in a lottery you've never even heard of. Quite the peculiar experience, to say the least!

It seems like there's a bit of a dodgy vibe surrounding those calls we used to receive when we were all set for our complimentary ring plans. Could be a scam or some sort of phishing attempt, wouldn't you agree?
