This number rang me two times today, offering some 10 free lines or something. I picked up the first call but quickly ended it, didn’t bother with the second. How come these kind of scams are still allowed to go on?

They've rung me up a couple of times and left a voicemail about some offer of 10 free lottery lines... like that's actually gonna happen!

Is this a lottery scam? I've been getting calls from this Harrogate number and it makes me wonder why it’s still ringing through. Shouldn't the police or the phone company have shut it down or taken some legal action by now? Feels like they’re dragging their feet or something.

Surely no real lottery would be handing out free tickets like that, must be a scam.

Somebody called pretending to be from Harrogate London and used my home address but didn’t bother with my name. I tried to keep the guy talking longer, but he just cut me off. In the end, I had no choice but to flag the number as risky.

On 25th May 2014, I got a call from this number claiming I'd won 10 free lottery tickets for an upcoming draw. They oddly knew my full name and address right away. When I asked if they were actually from the Lottery, they confirmed it and said they'd send the tickets by post. I didn’t give them any extra details, nor did they ask for anything else. The whole thing felt a bit off and unexpected. I'm quite curious to see if anything actually turns up in the mail.

Got a call from this number earlier, said I’d won some sort of free lottery tickets. They claimed they’d be sending them through the post soon. Sounds like one of those lottery scams to me.

Got a call today saying we’d won 3 lucky dip tickets for the draw next week. I asked them who they were and why I hadn’t got any official email from the National Lottery about it, and then they just ended the call. Seems a bit dodgy to me.

I saw the missed call from that number and decided to look it up, but I didn’t actually pick up.

I answered the phone but quickly ended the call twice, yet when I picked up the third time, they claimed to be from the lottery?!
