Received a couple of calls from this number, some bloke with an Asian accent and loads of background noise saying he was from Virgin Media's tech support. I told him he wasn’t and just hung up. My sister got a couple of calls from them last week too. Pretty clear it’s a scam, best to ignore it.

The phone’s rung a couple times and just hung up right after the first ring. If it’s part of that scam I keep getting several times daily - sometimes every hour - and loads of other people deal with it too, why on earth can’t the authorities trace these scammers? It’s so annoying!

I got a call from 01423540957 early this morning on 13/10/20, just before 9, but I didnt pick up when it rang. I saw the number with 1471 afterwards but didnt ring it back (which I normally avoid doing). Actually, they called me three times yesterday with the same sort of thing. Other numbers that have been ringing me lately are 01459235991, 02380651561 and 01443206722. Watch out for these, they’re almost definitely scams.

This number keeps pestering me, saying my Amazon Prime has been renewed automatically for £59.99. It's ridiculous because the actual renewal fee is £79.99, so it’s totally obvious it’s a scam. I just ended the call straight away. Honestly, it’d be great if there was a way to properly block these scammers, but they just keep calling from different fake numbers. Such a pain!

For a few weeks now, I've been getting absolutely hammered with calls - sometimes as many as 20 in a single day. At first, it was supposedly Amazon Prime calling, then it switched to BT. The weird thing is, my last few calls just went straight through to someone real without me having to press anything. The people on the other end are always really rude and argumentative. There's no doubt in my mind this is a complete scam!
